St Edward’s: Healing service etc

Tomorrow (13th) the pastoral support group will meet from 10.30 am – 12 noon (refreshments from 10.15).

Next Sunday at St Edward’s there will be the usual Prayer Book Communion at 8.00 pm, with Fraser as celebrant.

At 11.00 am there will be a Healing Service, with laying on of hands. The preacher will be Matt Russell, talking about the role of narratives in healing and reconciliation.

At the 5.00 pm Eucharist, Malcolm will continue his series of sermons on Meeting the Risen Christ, focusing this week on the sacraments.

The student-led Taizé service will resume on Monday at 9.00 pm.

On Wednesday at 8.00 pm there will be an ‘On The Edge’ service on the theme of brokenness, with live music by James Christie Brown (mostly playing his own songs), and Fraser preaching.

On Thursday at 12.30 pm there will be prayers for reconciliation and healing, with Matt. On Friday, as usual, there will be Holy Communion at 10.30 am with Alan Cole; and meditation at 5.30 with Fraser.

On Saturday (20th) there will be the Annual Parochial Church Meeting at 2.00 pm, and a Contemplative Eucharist with much silence at 5.00 pm.

On Sat 27th April there will be a visit to Coventry Cathedral, the centre of the Community of the Cross of Nails, in which we will soon become a partner. Transport either by mini-bus or car-share according to numbers. Please sign up, or email Fraser, asap if you would like to go.
